So the other day I just happened to have the radio off when I was backing out of the garage. When I shifted from park to reverse, there was a 5 second hum that cam from the back of that car. At first I thought nothing of it because I thought it was just some random noise the car makes and never happens.. However, I was able to recreate it whenever I shift from park to reverse and now I hear it every time. Anyone else ever notice a similar hum??

That would be the electronic parking brake releasing and engaging.

It could also be the rear window screen going down.
