Ouch. If the LS flops, they will have to start reconsidering their devotion to "aggressive" styling. My observation is that Toyota as a whole is currently at the forefront of the anti-aesthetic movement, although Honda is hanging in there as well.

The truth is, nobody knows for sure. I have read articles that say it will be discontinued and other articles that say it won't. I personally think there is a reasonable likelihood that it will be discontinued due to a huge sales decline for the model, and replaced with a new model designation that will be a totally new and improved model. Time will tell.

This current generation, despite the big drop, is still selling better than previous generations. The GS has always taken a dive in sales around year 3-4. This gen is no different.

I spoke to the sales associate at my local Lexus dealership about the GS being discontinued. He said, "No". He also looked at me like I was crazy. Lol.

And another dumb rumor...people need to stop posting these. As already stated, Lexus needs a car to compete in the E-class, 5-series, A6/S6, CTS segment, and the ES just won't cut it.

I was reading news article on the web, and people are saying that Lexus is going to kill GS Line as it will be redundant as new LS (new LS line will have V6 instead of V8).

I attended a Lexus F sport experience event this weekend, and asked the corporate folks why no GS F-sport was present for the experience... their answer was that GS is being killed off, and Lexus will officially announce it soon.
