what up family! Anyone bought an HiD Kit for their GS? If so...what brand did you go with? Pix??

2016+ GS have LED headlights. IMO...Not worth changing them to HID. If you want more distance from your headlights, you can adjust them to aim higher. The factory seems to aim them a bit too low.

ya I see what your saying. I saw some IS 350 riding around in the Orange County area with an HiD kit and I tried to catch up to him but ended up cutting right and I continued straight on a long street.

That would be a downgrade... earlier LEDs did not put out the light quality and lumens to match HIDs, but LEDs have matured, and the ones on your GS are almost certainly better than HID in every way (output, reliability, power consumption).

Most likely you just need to aim them higher.

you mentioned seeing IS with HID, but are we talking about an IS or Gs, the 2016 GS only comes with LED and u cant change it to HID , unless u are talking about the fog lights.

I'm confused. Unless you have triple LED headlights, aren't they already HID? GS doesn't come with LED by default...in the US.

MY2016+ GS have standard LED headlights, whether it has triple beams or not.

MY16+ have bi-LED standard and triple beam optional.

hid kit, as in adding a high resolution "k" to the standard...but I'm actually going to just buy the fog light housing for the car and be done with it lol

Are you going to get actual fogs too? Or just the garnish/surround as seen above?

im going to get both but I heard ijdmtoys got the fog lamp as well, might run me a bit cheaper but the idea is to have it all and get the front lip and have installation done simultaneously....
