Default Coming up on 50K

Thoughts on what should be done in advance of 50K warranty expiring.

I have 45K mile and have maintained the vehicle, so looking at he 45K and 50K services and wondering what I should have done by the dealer. The thought also crossed my mind on whether the dealer would even report any issues (sorry, I have a hard time trusting anyone who wants my money). An example, would they report a leaking shock?

Why would the dealer not report an issue? It's something they could get money to fix.

Listen real close for any rattles. Also, is there any wind noise coming from the moonroof? I had moderate wind noise from the moonroof when under warranty that I didn't address and now it's turned into pretty crappy rattling over road imperfections that will cost $700 to diagnose.

Where can we pull all the TSBs for our cars? I have a '14, not sure if there are any -- I know the '13 had one for the sunroof.

Just because there is one or more TSBs that may apply to a specific model year vehicle and model (or within a VIN range) does not necessarily mean that particular vehicle needs servicing/repairs (needs something done) unless it actually displays the problem a TSB addresses.

That is the point, under 50K it would be a warranty issue and paid via Lexus (at a lower rate). After 50K it would be on my dime.
For me it comes down to trust. Do I trust dealers or auto service providers?

Thanks for the link! And yes, it's a good caution that just because an issue may exist does not mean a particular car does have the issue. After going through the search, it looks like the only one that may apply to my car is the intermittent battery drain issue. Fortunately I have not observed this problem, and I hope I don't have it. My VIN is within the range before they fixed it in production.

Same here. Mine is within the TSB range, but I leave my car for over a week at a time sometimes, and never had a battery issue.
