2014 GS 350 F Sport
Hello All,
I purchased a L certified 2014 GS 350 F Sport with M/L full loaded with 23,000 miles in February 2017. It is an amazing vehicle. With this being my first sports vehicle, I did not know how powerful this vehicle is. Every time that I hit the gas pedal, the vehicle takes off like a rocket and I have to use the pedal shifters to slow the vehicle down. I now know that I can't have a sport tuned vehicle as a daily driver. Unfortunately, I rolled negative equity into the vehicle from a 2015 genesis that has horrible trade in value. I am not able to trade into a 2016 ES 359 without drastically increasing my payments. I will have to keep the F Sport a couple of years until I can trade for another Lexus.

Did you not realize this when you first got the car and test drive it? If the car was too fast, it would have been immediately obvious. Seems like you have constant buyers remorse and are ready to change quickly... Could it be the GS just isn't matching what you want YOUR car to be?
aybe its time to reflect and think about what you're looking for in a car and focus on refining that. I drove the ES before i picked the GS and wouldn't ever trade my car for it. I hope you don't fall down this path again if you do trade.

I did perform a test drive. After driving it for 4 months, I realized this vehicle is not for me. It is an amazing vehicle.

I should have never leased the genesis. I had a 2014 ES 350. I should have kept that vehicle. I am an idiot.

This is a serious post. I don't press on the gas petal very hard. The vehicle just takes off. The vehicle is an amazing vehicle.

Never heard of a guy who thought a car was too fast. When I test drove a 4th Gen GS I thought it felt lethargic and like it was missing a lot of power, did not feel like 311hp, I am used to a V8 and even the V8 I had did not feel all that powerful, just nice effortless acceleration. If this is a serious post how about putting it in eco mode and just not pressing the accelerator as hard. If you think the GS350 is fast don't get a 6 cylinder BMW 3 or 5 series or A4/A6 because they are much quicker. Luxury car buyers generally want and like a lot of power, you might want to try a 4cyl Camry if you think the GS is too fast, a 6 cylinder ES or Camry is not much slower then a GS actually.

If you're having remorse after owning the car for a few months i suggest seriously thinking about what you want in a car and what is available to you at your budget. Are you focused on a certain set of features the ES has that you absolutely want or is the rolled negative equity what is causing you to feel this way...
