Hey guys, i have a 2014 RWD gs350 fsport. Im gonna get the one up 245/40/19 for the front and 275/35/19 for the rear. Seems like thats the most people can go without rubbing. SO now im not sure whats a good tire to get, I live in houston btw. I'm looking at the Michelin pilot sport A/S 3 plus (is an all season tire not necessary in texas??), the pilot sport PS2 is pretty cheap on simple tires (any one have experience with those?, or the pilot super sport? (im wondering if the super sports dont last as long?

Edit: Also how do i know if it has the tire pressure sensor so it shows on my display?

Ever consider the Conitinetal DWS06, it's an all season tire that's as good as the AS3 plus but cheaper. I'm currently running the 245/275 combo on my GS and love them.

never considered them but i'm gonna check it out! thanks...heard that michelin is the best for the gs so didnt really look at other ones

Some member here got DWS 06 and they love them. I personally got a set A/S 3+ and I like a lot, front little bouncing some time.

Love my AS3+. Took the gittery ride out and still have awesome handling capability. I daily drive so the slight added comfort while maintaining handling was perfect. Looked at the Conts but am a big fan of michelins.

Where did you guys get your DWS 06's? They are only about 50 bucks cheaper than the AS3+ on Tirerack

Tire pressure sensors are attached to the wheels, not the tires. Unless I'm misunderstanding the question.

Continentals instead of paying a grip on Michelins. They're my go-to "Michelin Alternative". Very comfy, smooth ride and good grip in wet conditions. Also, long wear = over 50k miles. Purchased my staggered set from Discount Tire.

Currently first time on Michelin as3+. I will never go back.
Never wanted to pay Michelin Price tag but now I know why and worth every penny. and treadwear is amazing

I don't want to hijack, but I don't want to start a new thread for the same conversation.

It's totally time for new rubber on my 2015. OG Potenzas with 25K miles on them. Surprised they've lasted this long. Fronts are definitely worn and back is about 2/3 gone.

Sounds like the Continentals are a good 4-season wheel. Will have to look for the costs locally here in Virginia Beach. That being said...the Potenzas have this side wall rim-saver lip that I like. What worthy 40kmile tire on the market has this that doesn't cost more than $200/tire?

I'm running Continental ExtremeContact Sport and they have excellent grip and are comparable to the PSS at a better price. These came out early this year.
