Default Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires on GS RWD

I'm looking to replace my stock Bridgestone Potenzas's with these Ulttra High Performance Summer tires:

They are way cheaper than MPSS and you can get them for $560 with the rebate plus shipping in the 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 sizes.

Does anybody have any experience with these tires?

Yeah, I've been reading and watching reviews on them and they are all great. I wonder how much they would last? The don't have thread life warranty on Tirerack.

I have never had any luck with Firestones. Could never get them to balance on my ES's. Tried road force balancing 3 times on one set and finally had to remove them and get Michelins. I also had Firestones and Bridgestones on a Nissan Maxima and had the same issues as well as belts failing. I will never buy any of their tires again. Hate to be negative but my experience with them has not been good.

Same here. Oddly, the best street tires I've ever had were Sumitomo. When I need to replace my tires, I'll look for the Summy's first.

They are there with limited reviews because they were released beginning of May. I think the $70 rebate deal has ended though. Great dry and wet ratings but obviously no winter results yet.

I put those exact tires and sizes on my f sport 3 months ago. They are awesome. However, I would recommend removing spacers or going down a size if you have them due to the slighty wider depth. I have a good amount of rubbing up front with Tanabe nf210's and spacers. I don't remember if they are 5/15mm (front/rear) or more though

Cool! Did you have any issues with balancing the tires ? Are they noisy?
I'm no stock height and no spacers yet.
