Default Pic comparison between Osram CBI and stock HID bulb

I've had my CBI bulbs for over a month now and I gotta say that I like them a lot.

Here's a pic that show that the CBI's are indeed more blue and you can see the cutoff line is more colorful with the CBI's.

The top pic is the stock Harrison Japan HID bulb and the bottom pic is the Osram CBI.

The pics were taken with auto setting on a Galaxy S7.

What is the legality of it? anyone know?

I'm in california...
I don't think you would get in trouble for switching HID bulbs since our cars come with OEM HID to begin with.

Looks great. I had mines since last fall but still haven't gotten around to installing them. I called lexus they wouldn't install it. Toyota wouldn't either. Called an independent mechanic and they wanted $95 per side which was ridiculous.

My Lexus dealership wanted $250!
it's a tight fit to change out yourself.
