Trunk Spoiler lifting
Just noticed that there is an emerging gap between the spoiler and the trunk itself.
How are they attached? Bolted on? Anyone have theirs loosen? How do you get the inner skin tabs off?
Will post a pic later.
TIA.

If the dealership did the install or if it was part of the F-Sport package, it should have been bolted/screwed-in with two bolts/screws. This means they would've drilled two holes into the trunk. If you see it lifting, maybe the areas where the tape from the spoiler is coming off slightly.

Base model GS has only 2 holes for bolts and rest is double tape.

Super easy if you can make yourself to drill two holes yourself!!!! First time 15 years ago I was like "me drilling my car??? are you crazy???"
I just bought OEM painted one via ebay, seller has many colors available. Also, I purchased template for holes from different seller.

I bought an OEM spoiler from sslexus (superstition springs Lexus on Amazon/eBay).
I did the install two years ago without drilling and used the supplied double sided tape and I added some 3M tape of my own as well. I had to Dremel off the bolts on the spoiler to get it to sit flush without drilling.
Just another way to do it without drilling...mine has been on with no issues to date.
