It looks good as it is. But if you get it painted to match it will add a little more character.

Thanks and I was thinking that. I also got my hands on some pearl white wrap but not sure how well the wrap will hold up on urethane. Once this weather clears up I'll test fit and see what I can do.

So with all of that being said, I'm also interested to see what the changes in average fuel consumption are for those of us with roof spoilers on our 4GS.

From what I've read and was told, it should hold as long as you prep it by wet sanding it (320, 800 and if you want to take it up a notch 1200 grit sand paper). You can also you some adhesive promoter such as 3M. I wrapped my polyurethane lip recently. I tested it before with a small wrap sample and it wouldn't hold until I prepped it and its fine now. I opted not to use the adhesive promoter though.

Yes that is interesting I honestly just got it for the appearance aspect of it. I'm averaging 19.2 in sport+ in the city right now. I doubt I will get better than that with the spoiler but Ill watch for it. Also getting 20 inch wheels installed tomorrow so I know that will have an effect on it as well.

You'll gain about the same fuel mileage from having a roof spoiler as you would from emptying your glove box or polishing your side mirror housings.

True! As long as you didn't do it inside the car...

LOL good one. I'm not worried about MPG anyway coming from a lifted f150 with 35s with 10mpg in the city I'm loving this GS right now.

From what I read the roof spoiler negates the effectiveness of the trunk spoiler by redirecting the air up from the edge of the roofline. Essentially the only vehicle the should have a roof spoiler is a hatch. It's more of an aesthetic mod than a practical one.

The sun came out so I went ahead and installed mine today on my smoke break! Just left it flat black and it looks goooooood to me haha and fitment was actually perfect. Now for me to install my CF trunk spoiler and front lip tomorrow when it's hot out.

I think cosmetically it looks great because of the window visors, looks uniform! Nice GS!
