Default Anyone have TSW Bathurst wheels on their GS350?

Hi Guys, I am thinking of placing an order for 19"x8" TSW Bathurst Wheels, Gloss Gunmetal, for my 2013 GS350 AWD Luxury and using Continental ExtremeContactDWS 06 tires size 245x40x19.

Does anyone have these wheels on their GS that can show me some pics? I searched the forum but don't seem to see any but I know someone has to have these wheels??

Also, do you think I will run into any rubbing issues? This would be a square set up, car is currently not dropped, but I may consider a slight drop in the future.

Here is a link to the wheels on CarID http://www.carid.com/tsw-wheels/bath...-43164347.html

Thanks

I can't comment on the rims but I have that same tire setup on my stock fsport AWD and they perform great in all weather conditions. Love them.

I heard TSW has some quality issue. Friend of mine got a set of bent wheels straight from the factory. He even ordered an extra one and it was bent out of the box as well. Don't know if the guy is bad luck or what there.

I had tsw's vortex and at 50mph omg the shakes on the steering wheel, balanced the wheels plenty of times then I gave up and sold them.

You get what you pay for unfortunately. I have a set of Vorsteiner VFF 101's that are similar to what you're looking at to give you a rough idea.

Pictures really don't do them justice. They look way better in person.

Do you ever find yourself looking back at your car a few times after you leave the car or is that just me ?

Those look HOT!!! Its a bit out of my price range though. I am looking for something about $350 or less per rim, do you happen to have any recommendations for brands that I should stick with that may be in this price range? My biggest fear is to get a new set of wheels and I get shaking on the highway regardless of how many times I have the wheels balanced. I had a car for 10 years that had shaking issues and never want to experience that again.

I was about to get those exact set of rims (bathrust) but in 20's and based off of all the research I did and spoke to a few people, the Quality is not 100% with TSW. I am happy I ended up choosing a different company. in regards to tires I don't see why you should have a rubbing issue what so ever... especially squared up and stock suspension.

What wheels did you end up getting? Any issues with shaking at highway speeds?

I would check out Stance SC1 wheels. I have yet to hear anything negative about them.

Another solid one is the Velgen VMB5's that I personally would pick. I think they run closer to $400 a wheel for the 19's.

Whatever wheels you decide to go with definitely take them to a reputable wheel shop and have them spun on the balancer without the tires to ensure they check out. Its not uncommon for wheels to show up that are off due to being damaged during shipping or just being defective from the start. Also make sure the wheels you get come with hub centric rings that are compatible with your car (Center Bore being 60.1). After 8 different trips to multiple discount tires and 2 sets of tires due to wheel vibration; I finally found out that my car did not have hub centric rings

Rohana RC2 20's on rsr superdowns...

Just did 100 err I mean 65 mph on the freeway and no shakes what so ever... I even let go of the wheel to test it and it was smooth as a baby's bottom
