Default hit a parking space curb... so mad at myself right now

Does anybody know how I could fix this (avoiding the repair shop), and short of getting a new bumper?

I have a feeling that chrome piece can be replaced separately but I don't have the newer bumper so I am not sure.

I believe they sell replacement chrome trim pieces: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...l-removal.html

However, even if they do, its probably gonna be a pain to replace because removing chrome pieces usually requires you get to screws behind the bumper.

You can get a replacement trim piece if that's all that's damaged.

Yeah, the chrome piece was stuck on the bumper so tightly it would take forever just to replace the thing...

I actually love the car stock, since every GS I've seen has pretty much been an F-Sport. Sigh, I am just still so mad at myself right now for bottoming the curb out... it wouldn't have been that bad if I drove into the space slower.

From a distance, it's not noticeable, but you can tell if you are about 3 feet away.

Damn, I feel your pain. Kids step on my side skirts while exiting the car and scratched it the second day I got my car. You'll get over it
Maybe the Modelista lip will cover it! Lol

I was thinking of duct tape. You can fix almost anything with that stuff.

Don't stress. I parking space curbed my front bumper a week after getting my car and put a nice 1" X 5" scrape along the bottom front side all the way to the plastic. It bugged me bad for about a week but mow look at it as a 'character' mark.
