Default Directional Front Rotors - FSport

A couple of weeks ago I bought a fairly new rotor that listed the part number as the front passenger side on eBay for around $140, heck of a deal. I tried contacting the seller to see if they had the left one as well, but to no avail. I decided to buy the front driver side from a different seller at full price. Fast forward to yesterday, I threw away all the packaging and decided to paint it today. After looking at the vents, I noticed that the rotors I bought are identical - they are both for the driver side. Since I threw away the packaging, I will not be able to return it. So my question is, would it be OK to install a rotor on the wrong side with no ill effects given that they are directional?

As long as you don't drive fast with it then there won't be a problem. However installing directional rotors the wrong side will heat up faster since it doesn't fan out the heat which would lead to warping of rotors or excessive vibrations from hard braking. Any way you can trade in for another rotor?

I highly doubt I can switch them out since I threw away the packaging and plus it's eBay. Although the first seller posted their listing incorrectly, I can't think of any solution if I contact them since the rotor was almost half off. Let's just say worst case scenario, I will install one backwards. I do drive pretty fast on the highway and summer is coming soon. Aside from coughing up money for another expensive rotor, I'm a bit stuck in my position lol

Why would u can't return them bak if they listed uncorrectly. Throwing away the packaging don't affect returning a product to the seller.

That is true, but the one that listed it incorrectly was the cheaper one. I am thinking about just storing it in my garage until the next time I need to change out rotors.. I hate how these rotors are so expensive, I miss centrics
