Nice car its my car twin same color. I agree with the opinions on here. I haven't heard that crank delay on my 15 yet. I dont think I should on a 2yr vehicle but batteries die off due to different conditions. Good Luck. What interior color do you have?

I have the same color 2016 GS350 F-Sport and I've been telling people my car color is Sonic Titanium instead of Atomic Silver (same exact color just different names depending on your location). I think the color looks closer to Titanium anyway than Silver.

Go to Sterling McCall or Lexus of Clear Lake. Northside and Westside have the same owners.

My 2013 GS350 F Sport has its original battery and has had no problems with cranking, knock on wood.

One thing you might try is to clean the terminals and clamps, quick and easy task with a $45 battery terminal cleaner from auto parts store.

Damn, that must be a super nice looking battery terminal cleaner for $45... Does it come with a $40 rebate?

To clean the terminals a metal brush works great, for the wires just take a small disposable cup with half water. Remove the cables and then drop in a tablespoon of baking soda and then dip in the ends of the cables. It will eat off all the build up and corrosion. Dry off the cables with a rag before putting them back on.

Thanks! I will do that as well. I did just go ahead and replace the battery myself and so far it has super quick cranks, so it seems like that was the problem but I will also clean the terminals.

Look for a dealer who will solve the problem under warranty.

As you discovered it's not the battery. It's one of the fuse boxes. I had the same issue on my 13 where if I I didn't drive it the next day I would get these weak starts or if I skipped a few days of driving the car needed to be jumped started and magically it started right up. I put up with this nonsense since about 6 months of owning my car and with my dealer saying that I needed to use a tender and drive the car more. I brought in my dads older 94 LS ( yes you read that right) to a local shop and I mentioned to the owner who we've known for years about the issues. He said bring down the car when you can and we'll "take it apart". They did just that going through the whole car and it was a simple fuse box that was drawing to much. They replaced the part and now I have no issues with the car. I let it sit for days and it's sill starts right up.

How about a bad alternator as a possibility......

Seems like a new battery would have a good charge for a couple of days....

Then, as it is not being recharged.... the slow starts happen again.....

May want to get the alternator checked....

Just a guess.....
