Sears is offering Lifetime Alignments as long as you own the same car for $190.00. Just getting a one time alignment costs $90.00. Do you guys think it's worth it?
I just installed 4 brand new tires at 30k Miles.

Go for it as long as it's somewhat easy to get an appointment at Sears near you. Usually Sears is booked solid for 3-4 days in my area, and with my lifestyle, I really need a place that is no appointments and has loaner cars. My dealership charges $180 or $190 for a single alignment (4 wheel), but it's a relatively simple job, so I'd trust Sears to do it tbh.

Most of the Sears locations near me have closed or are scheduled to close so keep that in mind as the chain continues to struggle.

I've always gotten a lifetime alignment through Firestone if you have those near you. They don't have loaners but most of the ones near me are next to a mall so I can walk around for an hour or so while they work on my car. Never had a problem with them.

Firestone does it for $160 I think. But then their basic alignment is $85 and they give u 12 months warranty, so u can get it realign again before ur 12 months is up.

I have one at Firestone. Used it 4 times already and got my money's worth, but you may not need it. I'd say get it if:
you're keeping the car for a long time
having bad tread wear
drive on real bad roads
lowering/raising the car i.e. coilovers
upgrading suspension components

My older car had lifetime alignment and I had it done/checked every oil change.
2/3 times it was out. Saved me at least a set of tires.
I'm all for lifetime alignment, but make sure it's one of those real life time alignments where you could bring it every week if you wanted to.
When you buy the car new, you will get a warning with it. Warning states that tires are only good for 12k mi. 16k tire change is not bad. My tires were done at 18k.

Firestone seems to be everywhere, so it makes sense to get it with them, since they're... well, everywhere. And they should not charge tax on a service, it's a service not buying parts.
Is Sears going out of business? I know they're closing the Kmart near my place and most other ones were gone as well.
I replaced my stock Bridgestones at over 30K miles and they still had plenty of tread left, as I haven't hit the wear bars yet. So under 20K is not good.

I would stay away from places to align your vehicles that tend to have a lot of employee turnover, or hire inexperienced people.
