you guys arnt gonna believe this. I took a gamble and purchased a rx350 switch panel because they looked similar and was 50$ vs 200$+. no the pn dont match and no its not a "direct" fit because u gotta remove the plastic outter casing and transfer yours old one. then it is a direct plug n play.
rx350 on left and gs350 on right
back of both panels
when removing the gs350 switches from the panel you get the switches themselfs but when removing the rx350 u get the switches and this extra case that you remove in order to fit your gs350 panel

Awesome I look forward to doing this mod this should’ve been standard from factory smh....Lexus chooses different functions for each year and model which is a pet peeve for some us. Something so minor can make a dramatic difference you’d be surprised the finer details makes a lasting difference.

Wow. Great read. I have a 2013 450h now for about a month. Two year Lexus warranty so don’t want to mess with the mirrors, yet that is, but the auto cooled seats feature, do you mean that with a software app, I can enable this feature so that I do not have to physically turn this on every time? Live in Florida so naturally 95% of the time I want the cooled seats running. Or as some people have pointed out, the little air fan under the seats running automatically when I start the car. Thanks.

So may I just ask a clarification question after reading this thread a couple times. I have a 2013 GS with BSM. Can I get a used set of power folding mirrors from 2014 or 2015 and switch out the motor and whatever other parts from the purchased mirrors to put in my existing 2013 mirrors. I understand there are some wiring differences to be dealt with, but I obviously would want to use the same base and housing that I currently have since it matches my car? In reading through this, I get conflicting answers it seems. Thanks.

yes you can the 2013 is already wired for auto folding (f sport i can confirm) you can also disassemble the case and transfer your old one to the new assembly..you do have to switch 2 wires around like stated earlier in the thread..this is got the bsm. u can either depin and swap or just cut it and swap them

Sorry for being so "not understanding" your point. If I am purchasing 2014+ folding mirrors that do not match the color of my 2013 car, why would I want to disassemble the case and transfer my 2013 mirror to the new assembly? When you say assembly, are you talking about the mirror upper and lower "frames" that match my car color. That is why I am confused as I kept on reading in this thread about putting the 2013 mirror on the new mirror assembly for BSM to work, instead of taking the motorized part from the new mirror, and install it in your old mirror. I am sure I am just missing something. Thanks for your patience though in replying. In my other vehicle, I have replaced intercoolers, valve gaskets, cold air intakes, but not normally interior add functionality type stuff to cars. Usually engine mods.

Wow, I just did not think of that alternative though it leads to basically the same result. So basically your existing mirror external shells over the 2014 mirrors, instead of taking the motorized part and trying to fit it in your existing mirror. I think there was some comments of using your actual 2013 mirror with BSM in the 2014 shell as well since there was a change. By George I think I've got it. Though I still have not come across the DIY in this forum to remove the mirrors and door panel, though I believe it is out there. Thanks Peasodus. You are very handy and like Edison, do not give up if something fails to work the first time.

I am trying to buy the side mirrors with power fold for my 2013 gs350 on ebay but all of the sellers with power fold mirrors told me that their mirror just had 14 wires on the connector instead of 16 wires. Can anyone explain please?

I am thinking about buying this part and put it in my mirror. Do you think it is the right part and works?
