Curious to know if any one with the drop care to comment on how the ride improved or not. Everyone has different opinions about how the car should look and all that, but some other people (myself included) are looking to see if the ride improved or if it got rough and regret getting it dropped.
Thank you,
Jon.
Thank you,
Jon.
After 200 miles initial reviewer the RS-R: the Tanabe springs were extremely comfortable, give a decent drop. Handling slightly improved. The RS-R, give a great drop.. Especially if you running aftermarket wheels, handling is improved significantly especially with the Tanabe strut bar in Sport + mode. However you are going to feel more of the road, which is good for those that drive the car spiritfully... They are two different options for two different types of people. If you want the full comfort aspect of Lexus, and a slightly aggressive stance... do Tanabe. If you want a semi stanced car that handles ****in awesome.. RS-R.

You can check out more of the Tanabe vs RS-R and see other pics in these threads:

Today I can say that I love the RS-R Superdowns.. most functional and looks great...

I'm lowered on RSR Down Springs
Top: Stock
Bottom: RSR down spring
Can't really see the difference in picture. But it's about a little over an inch drop
Has about two finger between the fender and tire
Wish it was a little lower but I'm happy. No rubbing, no scrapping and rides like stock if not better
From the look of the springs it should drop more
(Front spring vs stock)
Rear spring vs stock
