I don't think you can really compare the 2 cars really in any way. Most of the newer dodges I've ever been in feel pretty cheap with alot of plastic inside and don't have the best handling, the challangers feel a bit like boats and aren't overly fun to drive. The high HP muscle cars can accell in straight lines, but handling is a bit disappointing.
Test drive what you are considering and see what you like the best. If you are complaining about the new price, but slightly used. I personally would never buy a new car, I rather buy slightly used and save huge amount of money I saved for mods. You can buy l certified with warranties for much less.

I wouldn't make the switch, I actually want to trade in for a Scat Pack Charger. I have a GS i bought new and now have 21k on it. It's a beautiful car and has been flawless. It's quick and handles well. BUT every time I hit the gas, it is lacking to me. In my humble opinion, it lacks soul. Looking for a v8 next.
