Painted my front calipers. Initially was just going to do red but wanted to change things up a bit and chose gold and went with black F Sport decals

Changed my transmission fluid with Toyota WS, at 70k it had a pretty dark red color to it. Going to doing a second drain and fill in a couple of weeks and change the filter at that time.

I'll take some pics on the next drain and fill but the procedure is exactly the same as on the 3GS.

What did that run you? Did it include full 2 stage paint correction?

I had mine done with Opti-Coat Pro+ with full 2 stage paint correction and it was about $1600 with a 7 year warranty, which included ~7 hours of detailing and an hour to apply the coatings including the wheels.

When I got my black Infiniti SUV quoted for Ceramic Pro 9H the detailer quoted me $2600 including paint correction and application/curing over 7 days.

I love the performance and gloss of the Opti-Coat on both my cars, but I think I might try Ceramic Pro for whatever my next car is (or maybe something newer and better may be out by then)!

Default Remodeled her home

I finished my garage remodel a few weeks back and can finally post the pictures. Took me 6 months of working on weekends when I could to get this done. Here are some of the things I did.
Repaired and repainted walls, trim, and ceiling
Reconfigured all my shelving
Added 8 LED lighting fixtures
Added wall cabinets on the right wall and back wall
Added doors over the lower shelves
Added insulation in all walls and ceiling and also added a mini-split 12,000 BTU heat pump - So now I have AC and heat
Sealed concrete floor with a penetrating sealer and covered with RaceDeck
Cleaned up all my tools stuff in the garage

She is pretty happy about it!!! My wife and the car. So am I! It's much easier to work in there now that it's climate controlled.

What a transformation!! I love the RaceDeck, have it myself. Great selection with the colors to match each of your vehicles!

Ugh I am still debating doing this. The fact that I have to sweep dry salt out of my garage 2 to 3 times a year has stopped me from doing this....

Looks fantastic!!

Thanks! Yeah just VHT, have always had good experiences with them. I think I used about 3/4 can on the fronts, figured it can't hurt!

I'm putting a Supra BBK on my IS300 soon and got a G2 brush on system for those to experiment with since the calipers are off the car.

I was not sure that anyone would notice the colors matching the vehicles. That RackDeck is really easy to install. It was one of the easiest things I did while remodeling.

Yes those are the 19" (quiet) wheels. They are very nice wheels. The only thing I don't like about them is that it would be nice if they were more open to see the painted calipers and also if they actually made wider ones for wider rear tires. Other than that they are some of the best looking wheels that I have ever had from the factory.

Living in south Texas I don't have to worry about that. I will say that for the short time that I have had the flooring that it is a chore to keep them clean because of pollen, tree leaves, and other debris that blows in from outside. Since we are now mostly out of the spring season there is less stuff in the air and it's a bit easier. So far no stains or marks from rolling things around either.
