Rear tire wear... Camber kit?
I'm running 245/35/20 with my Vossen wheels and I'm having terribly uneven tire wear, specifically on the inner tire treads. I'm having to change tires almost once a year. Would a camber kit similar to this alleviate this issue?

I would get a camber kit if I were you. Have it installed the next time you get new tires. I went with a square set up for my vossen wheels for this very reason. I can rotate them and not have to worry about just two tires getting bald on the inner side. So far so good. Recently had them rotated and was told they are wearing evenly.

Thanks guys. I'm actually mounting two new tires on Monday. The tires are not rotatable so that's out of the question. I'm thinking of the camber kit but want to confirm it would solve the issue. Buying tires every year is not fun!

Yep, camber kit will definitely help. I have the SPC rear adjustable camber kit. Pretty inexpensive and has definitely saved my rear tires. A few vendors on here sell them at good prices.

Have the actual camber angle checked before doing anything with parts.
Last thing you would want is to replace a part when there is a problem some where else.
I had the same problem with my last car (BMW 650i) where the inside shoulder would wear the inside 1"-1 1/2" and the center of the tire still had 6/32"-7/32" tread left on them, it was simply an issue with the manufacture felt that handling was more important than tire life, as I was informed that the camber was within BMW spec. So I had them stand the tire up as much as possible but stay in spec. It added 12,000 miles to the rear tire life. It did make the rear a little loose but not an issue unless you were going 50mph around a 20mph corner.
So give an alignment a shot before spending the money on new parts.
I will say the part and other parts they have for the GS 350 look great and would probably be my choice if I had to replace those parts otherwise.
Good Luck with solving the wear issue, please let us know what you find out with your current setup and what you chose to do with parts and how they work for you.
Thanks

BTW, my wife hasn't noticed any difference in handling, etc.

That's a great point. I'll admit I have no knowledge on alignment and suspension specifics so I'll talk to the tire shop about standing the tire up in the rear a bit more. I'll let you guys know tomorrow.

Are you lowered? If you get an alignment check, let us know what your camber and toe measurements were.
I'm concerned with my lowered setup, the LR camber is at -2.4 and RR at -2.7. At about what camber will tires get chewed up quickly?

Back from replacing my tires. I had an alignment done and asked them to straighten them out as much as possible. Here are the alignment specs. Hopefully these specs mean less wear for me.

You should be good now. While see cord is never good most of the tread was down to the wear indicators and should be replaced very soon anyway.
So that small adjustment should do the trick.
Good Luck
