The YZZA1 seem shorter...
Get the proper size.. putting in a shorter filter will mean most of the oil will pass through without filtering(lowest path of resistance).

This implies Lexus did expect jacks to go on those reinforced portions, not the actual pinch weld.

I'm thinking this weekend of creating my own jack cover out of wood from 1x1s but running a groove across the top of it so it won't put pressure on the pinch weld. I'll let you know how it turns out. The jack cover would then act like the grooved hockey puck for regular jacks but will be customized for my jack stands.
That is exactly what I did with some 4x6 wood blocks. I also purchased a couple of drive on ramps. I think they are called race ramps and are perfect for the GS. Now I just drive up on the ramp and if I need to remove the wheels I can get my jack perfectly placed. I then use the pinch weld adapters to support the car with jack stands. It works perfectly.

04152-YZZA5 or 04152-YZZA3 is the correct filter, YZZA1 is def too short
