Default Joe Z Axle Back Vs. Tanabe Medallion Exhaust

I am trying to decide between the Joe Z Axle Back exhaust or Tanabe Medallion. I want something deep when I start it up and at the lower RPMs when accelerating but refined (quiet) when cruising.

I have had no customers complain about the Tanabe.. Another very popular option is the Invidia exhaust.

Tanabe medalion is known for low and deep. Invidia with the midpipe sounds very deep too.

Thanks. Has anyone done a comparison of the Joe Z axle back and Tanabe Medaliion, of both exterior and in-cabin sound? I would like to know the pros and cons of both.

I have Invidia Cat-Back and I don't know about anyone else but it makes a popping sound when coming to a stop... kind of like back firing. I took the mufflers off and kept the mid pipe in and no more popping but it doesn't sound as aggressive. The sound reminds me of a slightly more aggressive 350z or G35 exhaust tone when the full exhaust is installed.

I have the Invidia Cat-Back exhaust and the only time I've heard anything close to a popping sound is when I aggressively downshift. My 69 Roadrunner used to do the same thing

When I had the full exhaust it would do it more when coming to a fast stop but it would happen all the time even during city driving. I wanted to get as close as possible to the exhaust note of a V8 but doesn't seem like any combo makes that possible.

You'll never get a V6 to sound anything like a V8.

Tanabe has the lowest non-annoying sound. I love mine and get compliments weekly.

Does the tanabe sound natural? I had a G37S sedan before and the raspy/deep exhaust for the VQ motor sounded natural. I'm wanting an exhaust that sounds like it fits the car. I don't want it to sound "after market" if that makes sense.
