Default 2013 GS350 f sport engine misfiring!!! Help

Hello fellow members! So recently my GS started misfiring. Usually happens when in doing 75mph its the 3rd time it has happened this month. Took it to Lexus of Riverside n they told me cylinder 1 2 n 3 is misfiring. But they can't pin point why its doing it. They clear the codes n check engine light n the car runs fine but it will do it randomly still!!! Lexus dealer told me that my Wheels are causing the misfire!!! i have 3 piece wheels n they are 20's. I pretty much told them there is NO way that can cause internal problems to the engine. Any help would be much appreciated.

Take it to a different dealership, and have them check it out. You basically want to create a paper trail with a second opinion in case it for some reason qualifies as a lemon car. It has to be causing the same issue after a certain number of repairs. And I personally cannot see how bigger wheels can create an engine knock

I cant either. My old vehicle had really bad carbon build up that caused some spark plugs to get plugged. Could start there and check the coils and plugs and possibly run a fuel cleaner through the engine to irritate the carbon. Once i switched to new spark plugs, the problem went away.
Does this happen at any other times?
What fuel are you running?
Has water entered the engine area?

if if it happens again this week I'm going to take it to another dealer. I don't think bigger wheels has anything to do with the misfiring.🙄🙄🙄🤔😏😏

I also don't see how this has any effect on the firing of the engine, I'm running the next size up front and back without issue, the tires are 1% larger in diameter.

Try using up this tank and get fuel from a different station than where you usually fill up. Could just be bad gas.

I agree, most of the time it is bad gas (87 octane).

Yeah i would probably start with that. If it doesn't get better, i would suggest a fuel cleaner and checking the spark plugs. Don't have to necessarily replace them but spark plugs are relatively cheap. http://www.defenderhelp.com/images/4...parkpCHART.jpg

I had a CBR600RR that was tuned to run 91. Loaned it to a friend who put 87 in it and the car stalled and wouldn't even want to start anymore. Right after switching to 91 it ran fine.

I'll say it's definitely not your wheels, inconceivable they would even suggest something so ludicrous. That implies to me they are incompetent or negligent.

3 cylinders are misfiring? I would first suspect fuel, then maybe the distributor. I would not much suspect spark plugs or ignition coils.
