Default "Trip Information" question

New owner here of a 2014 GS350 with nav.

Anyone else think the "Trip Information" (Fuel consumption) screens are odd? When in the left panel of the screen, (in addition to mph charts) it shows avg mph, time elapsed, and cruising range. In the right panel, it can show avg mpg (instead of mph) and then time and range again. Room for 6 numbers and two are duplicates. Neither shows distance traveled. Do they expect me to multiply mph by minutes elapsed and divide by 60? Obviously that info is available. You could also get it if you remember to reset the trip odometer whenever you set out.

I don't see any way to customize this--am I wrong?
