Default Fog light question

I have a 2014 GS with the luxury package and just read that these cars have LED fog lights which I did not know. I want to go with yellow fogs and was wondering if anyone with this year and package have done this and what bulbs you went with. Also what is the bulb size?

If you have LEDs there's no bulb so you can't change it. Best option might be to get a yellow lamin-x cover for it

The lux version of the GS has the LED fogs - the assembly has the bulb inside with a power connector. The non-lux version has a similar round fog assembly but a hole for an H11 bulb.

There are some places (ijdmtoy and ebay) that sell the entire housing and bulb if you wanted to go the route of replacing with a yellow bulb/yellow tinted housing (http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Genuine-OEM...t-p/70-101.htm)

The simplest solution is definitely the Lamin-X as suggested by fellow member nerv81 but i don't think it will do much as far as changing the output to yellow...I came from an '01 GS with the yellow fogs - i had to put yellow fogs on my 4GS as soon as I could...i love the look!

Don't want to use yellow film?

I'm digging the white LED that matches the DRL LED and HID.

I think others covered your options pretty well.

What is it about the yellow fogs that you like?

Nah yellow film isn't the same. And that's just what I like. Lexus was the original car to do the yellow fog lights in case you didn't know

miatas had yellow fogs since their first release... 1989. two versions actually. A clear lens and a yellow lens version just like the IS300/Altezza..

anyways... have you seen the fog lamp out of the car? it's "sealed".. you need to open them up to get to the LED inside.. and most likely you'll need to desolder the LED and solder on a yellow one..

I would open mine up and see but i'm not trying to destroy some expensive OEM fogs.. lol
