Did it myself after my tint guy gave me a ridiculous price to put it on (i think he wanted like $75).
The nice part about it is if you screw up, you can always take it off and start over.

I did it myself as well - fairly simple. Just make sure you clean the bumper very well - no dust particles. Know exactly where it needs to be, and move it around till you get it perfect.

It came out great - its like putting on tint or a really large phone screen protector. You'll have to use soapy water and a squegee will be very helpful to get out the excess water/bubbles.
Agreed with fellow member JJ14. Make sure you thoroughly clean the area and be sure to center the applique as best you can.
Here's the best pic i have showing part of the bumper/applique:

Use Johnsons baby shampoo and water solution to lubricate the applique. That is what the Lexus instructions recommend. Also to clean the area on the bumper use a weak Simple Green solution. I did mine and it came out perfect. Was very simple and I had never done this before. Be very careful about what you use to squeegee the bubbles out as you could scratch the film. Light scratches can be polished out but deep ones will damage it permanetly. if you use the correct 3M gold squeegee you will need to use low friction covers on it so as not to damage the film.

I now use it to help dry off my car after washing it - works great to push water off the surface of the car.

It's still like a sticker, you use the soapy water so you can move it around and put it exactly where you want it....
I pulled mine off when I got home from the dealership....that goofy gold Lexus looks bad to me
