LEDs also are easier to work with in terms of design because the LEDs themselves can be smaller, put into different shapes, sizes and forms to create a unique look (hence the great looking triple LEDs on the 2016 GS, the LED DRLs on the 3IS and the DRLs on the 2013-2015 GS).
This topic is also being discussed in the following thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...-2016-a-2.html

As with any light system, they can. I don't think Lexus or Toyota is doing that with LEDs. --> Edit: It looks like the 2016 Luxury Package comes with the Adaptive Front Lighting system. They don't do it with many of their lights presently.

I have found one 2016 GS 350 Luxury at Lexus of Riverside. I don't like the color. Pearl White/Brown or Black are the best. Here is the link: http://www.lexusofriverside.com/Vehi...-CA/2758749843

They do look a lot better.but your right its not worth waiting if there is no chance of them being on the 2017's.I don't see why Lexus would at least send some to the dealers here in the U.S. with that option to see how they sell.Get some feedback on what people think of them.I am sure they put out better light at night than the regular lights. Can even go to a Honda dealership and buy a touring model accord or civic with Honda's version of the L.E.D lights and they cost half as much as what the GS price is.
Audi did really good jobs with their LED headlights!!

Lexus Champion
Toyota make all their Corolla headlights standard with LED and it does look better. I feel Lexus cheap out on their products, make me regret buying my 2013 GS: no full stop for adaptive cruise control, no power trunk, no LED headlights, outdated navigation......

If you wanted the features like "full stop for cruise control, power trunk, and standard LED headlights," then you should've gotten the 2016+ GS, because all of those have become available. Nav system definitely needs to be updated...maybe some Apple CarPlay or Android Auto integration would be nice.
