Default Opinions, comments, recommendations, and warnings on wheel/tire setup

I think ive finally figured out what ill be running for my 15 gs fsport. Currently on Tanabe NF210 lowering springs. Not a fan of stretching the tires so

Work Zeast ST1

Front: semi-concave 20x9 +34 (59mm lip) with 255/35/20

Rear: middle concave 20x10 +40 (59mm lip) with 285/35/20

I believe this should get me flush with the top of the fender. Maybe stick out just a bit.

Im assuming ill need to roll or shave the fender wells. But assuming i do this, will i still have any rubbing issues? Anyone currently running this setup?

Heres an example of a 20x9 on 255/35. Not sure of the offset. But looking for something like this

well the recommended tires and offset for the car will be 35 offset and 34 ur ok but the tires u have to run 245/35/20 and the back 45, with 40 and 285/35/20 guarantee rubbing and u gonna hate it, go with 45 and 275/30/20 max is 285/30/20 but u gonna have to roll or shave the fenders. I am running 20x9 35 offset 245/35/20 and 275/30/20 45 offset 20x10.5, and no issue at all, that was my first choice of wheels but they were out and I had to wait 3 to 4 months and I said no way. here is my sett up and nice and flush and got lots of complements, pictures dont do justice unless u see it personally.Good Luck bud.

your car looks great with that set up. I assume you have dropped it? what setup did you use for that?

No rubbing on the 20's with your wheel / tire setup?

What other mods did you do? I have a 2014 GS350 F sport on the way in white as well and yous looks great

Parts man,
A few questions...
What do you get form the Throttle controller HP, economy?
Like the rid eon the springs? better than stock stiffness or progressive ride, meaning it gets stiffer when pushed in a corner?
Is the HPS intake using a K and N drop in on the end or a cone filter? Is it a true cold intake?Getting any HP from that?
thanks!

the throttle controller is for the rapid response of the throttle when u punch it, and the spring I love it, it did not change at all and the handling is amazing after my drop and the wheels, and HPS intake is a larger tube, the factory is 3" and this is 3.5" and u dont loose the sound creator which bolts on to it, u unscrew it from the old intake and put it on the HPS one and I just dropped a K&N filter in it, I have not done any dynoed it yet, but I will in the next two weeks , I have to finish cpl more things on the car and here is a link to the part.

Me partsman

Thanks for responding. I dont suppose you have any close up sots of your wheels and tires you could post?

Also thx for tne intake tube info! Had no idea this was available. Just ordered one yesterday

im pretty sure a 20x10 +40 offset will have the same wheel position as a 20x10.5 +45 offset. But with this wheel, if i go 20x10.5 +45, i lose 25mm inner clearance.

So im thinking the 20×10 +40 should be good, no?

Nice job on your ride btw

For some reason, I am not a fan of even numbered spokes on a wheel but I am looking forward to see how they look on your car. You have a lot of patience! 4 months!!
