Default Tire size help? Do I have to match original size?

So I have a 2013 GS 350 F RWD and recently replaced my rear Tires with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2. Now that my fronts need replacement I'm finding that Hankook doesn't make 235/40/19 tire sizes in the Ventus V12. Can I vary from the 235/40/19 recommended size? I.E. Go w/ a 225/40/19?

No, you don't have to buy the same size tires. You can go up with 245/40-19 (fronts) and 275/35-19 (rears) without issues.

Funny though, the brand selection increases and prices go down when you go up in size.

I too want to know if I can go wider when the time comes. I got the AWD square setup. The stock size is too narrow IMO..
My apologies op for hijacking thread.

Do you think a 245 will make my tire look noticeably bulkier in the front?

Go to rimsntires.com. It will give you an idea of what your tire will look like vs current setup.

More just concerned on the overly big tire look the 245/40/19 might give me.

Do I have to go up to 275/35/19 in the back or if I bought 265/35/19 already will those work w/ the 245/40/19 in the front?

I cant imagine it would matter as itis a super mimimal change. I know on AWD cars it would matter but on RWD not.

Thanks everyone. Pulled the trigger on 245/40/19 on the fronts. Hopefully the results will look good!

Ended up going a bit cheaper (just had a baby so watching money) on the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 but I had them on my old IS350 and was happy. $600 shipped for all 4 tires using the new ebay $100 off $400 deal going on right now. Not bad!
