My car has the Expresso wood trim and have noticed that the trim panel on the passenger dash now has a noticeably rougher feel to it than the wood trim on the four doors and centre console. I have only used Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer Cleaner and fresh microfiber clothes to clean the dash and the hard interior surfaces. I clean the interior about 3 to 4 times a year and the dealer will clean it at service intervals. In fact , the vast majority of the time no one sits in that seat. Does anyone have a similar experience? I have examined it as best as I can, and there appears to be no pitting or soiling on the surface of the wood, and don't recall this issue earlier in the car's life. Is there anything I can do to address the problem or change my cleaning regime?
