Buy a 2016 GS350AWD or Used 2013/2014 LS460AWD
Hi All,
I'm looking at buying a new 2016 GS350AWD but for the same price I can get a used 2013/2014 LS460AWD. Which way should I go?

Keep in mind that I haven't driven the vehicles in question when I say this, but they are two different cars. The LS is bigger and has more leg room and better features/more luxury, but doesn't drive as sporty or look as good IMO. It's also the same generation that it's been on since 2007 and is due for a new generation 2017 I believe. Meanwhile the GS just got a mid-gen face lift for 2016.
So I guess it's really what you're looking for in a car. Do you have a family, will you be using the extra room of the LS and appreciate the features it offers over the GS? Or will it mostly be you in the car, and would you rather have a sportier ride and more modern, aggressive look?
I think they are both great cars, but, like I said I haven't driven either one so keep that in mind. I'm sure there are some on here who have that can give you better advice.

I had a 2013 GS, and now have a 2015 LS.
Both great cars, I prefer the LS for a myriad of reasons but they are very different cars. The LS is much more refined, rides much better, its significantly quieter, but the GS is sharper, more fun to drive, handles much better and with the luxury package is very luxurious and rides very well on the highway despite being more fun to drive. The V8 in the LS is a good bit smoother and more refined than the V6 in the GS.
You need to drive them both to decide. The LS is a better car for me, being what I want out of a car but I loved my GS and I could 100% understand why somebody would prefer the GS. They're very different.

I currently have a 2007 GS350AWD with 162000 miles. Will be starting a new job that will only have me driving 12 miles round trip to work all local roads. I do have a family, two small kids.
