This thread now will only apply for 13 - 15 GS350 F-Sport. I have reviewed the wire diagram for 2016+. Lexus has removed the integration relay for fog light functionality.

what do you mean by that? it doesn't trigger the dash light? fairly certain there are people that have installed the fog lights on 2016+ F-Sport. they discovered that the washer fluid reservoir has to be changed out to allow enough room to install them.

There's no fog light wiring in the BA2 connector nor in the N12 connector. If you look at the wiring diagram in TIS for 2013-2015, it says pin 39 & 40 in BA2 are fog lights. However, if you look at the diagram for 2016+, it says pin 40 is air conditioning and 39 is blank. People have installed fog lights in their 2016+ F Sport, but I haven't ran across anyone that used the JDM stalk to control them. I'm playing around with my install right now to see if there's a way...

This is because Lexus has changed the fog light switch to a dimmer switch.

Hmmm...guess Nigel and the crew need to stop selling JDM parts for vehicles where it won't work.

It'll still work. You can still use the JDM switch like a traditional switch. You just won't get the dash indicator and you'll have to run the trigger wire through the firewall.

When this installation is done correctly how do the Fog Lights work? Are they now tied to the headlight function that they are on only when the headlight low beam is on and go off when the headlight high beam is on?

Headlights by their very design and position cause a lot of glare to be reflected back at the driver from all the water droplets in a fog bank. Fog lights are designed and positioned to distribute a diffuse light down low to avoid the glare problem caused by normal headlights. To use a Fog Light correctly it should work independent of the headlights. Otherwise instead of fog lights you should have auxiliary driving lights with a completely different light pattern.

after you did this mod, you can decide if you want to turn the foglight on when the headlight is on or turn the foglight off when the headlight is on.

With the OEM stalk, I am guessing that the fogs are on only when your low beams on are on. Is there a way of using the OEM stalk to make them come on independently of the low beams?

The diagram layout you have of the wiring is correct. If done properly, the dash light will come on when you turn the switch. I preferred to do it this way to keep everything looking/operating originally as intended. I'm sure you can run in independently from the low beam. N28 Connect - Pin 11 would just have to go to an independent relay vs the main body ecu. You will not receive a dash light indicator completing it independently. If you accidentally forget to turn off your fog lights they will continually stay on.

The latter is how I have mine wired up. I have a 2016+ so I had to use an independent relay and run a wire thru the firewall.
