Has anyone been able to successfully get the 2016 tail lights working on their '13-'15 GS?

I could be biased but the older lights have more personality compared go the clear ones.

Great to see them side by side like that. I think the older ones are much better looking.

Looks great - seems that both lens designs have their fans!

Nixus: Would definitely like to hear your opinion about the overall look and if the light output is any different. I know the one of the biggest changse is the rear signal bulbs are now LEDs...

Thanks for the update! I'm happy to see that they fit. Can't wait to get more info on the wiring once it's done. Did you order a new harness or is it custom wiring?

I ordered the factory harness for the 16 MY model. I'm trying to go with a plug and play method as much as possible. The old harness lacks a few wires like the the extra brake signal, also do the new lights have back up lights on both sides where the previous ones on the euro models had one back up light on one side and one fog light on the other so that was an extra wire to run wich the newer harness already has.

Bother generation tails look good. Can't go wrong with either. Good work.

Oh so I'm guessing it will be a little easier for us in the US as we have two reverse lights in the back(one on each side).

So I got the connectors and a little free time. I installed the inner tail lights after doing some wiring but unfortunately I haven't got the brakelights to work yet but everything else works fine.
I'm gonna leave it for now so basicly I just switched connectors and used the old harness again and decided to go with that for now. The outer units are still in need of testing for hyperblinking so that will be next.
