any way to change suspension setting only?
I have a regular gs350 with 18" tires without fsport package. Does any of you feel that the normal suspension mode can be unnerving on roads with irregular surfaces? I feel it is in a state of polar disorder where its neither soft enough to be plush like a ES nor firm enough to feel planted like a german sports sedan.
When I switched to Sport+ it felt much better! even though there is slightly more feedback from the road it feels much better than the neither comfortable nor planted feel of the stock setting. However, is there anyway to just change the suspension setting without triggering ecu to become sport?
In the older cars suspension settings and ecu settings are separate so I can actually choose a sports suspension but eco ecu. In this car it seems you can only choose what they program - that means if you want a sharper suspension your ecu has to be in sport+ mode.

.....If you have an F Sport, yoou could always set the car to Sport S+, and disconnect the AVS adjusters from the shocks while in the Sports S+ setting. That way you'll be on Sports S+ on your suspension setting all the time. Steering, Transmission, and throttle mapping will be the only changing.

So what you are suggesting is change driver select to sport +, then disconnect AVS adjusters from shocks so no matter what your driver mode is (ECO, NORMAL, SPORTS, SPORTS +) the suspension will forever be in the firm mode.
Why can't lexus give us back individual settings for ECU(eco, normal, power) and SUSPENSION (comfort, normal, firm)????

New on the 2016 RX F-Sport is Customizable Drive Mode. This will let you change one without the other.

In the old days, the electronic shock absorber valving had only two stages: soft or hard, and that was it.
Today, the valving on a 3GS actually has 8 stages, ie 8 different stages of openings.
Thus, today the electronic shock absorber valving is an automatic affair, and we simply choose either normal mapping, or sports mapping, and the electronic shock absorber valve opening takes care of itself at 8 different valve openings.
The 4GS has a 9 stage valve operation.

Repair/Service Manual that dealers and techs use. I have them for both my cars.

Any direction to point me to where I might be able to acquire the service manual? I have the field service manual for my 01 ES300 (same one the techs use) and it's amazing, but I can't seem to find one for the 13 GS350 I just picked up a week ago.
