To answer your question about how long it takes to update the NAV map, I'll have to tell you what happened to me. The first time I took it in to my local Lexus dealership (with an appointment and loaner car) the Lexus computer that handles the map updates nationwide (not located at the dealership) crashed and they couldn't even begin the map update. The second time I took it in (with an appointment and loaner car) they began the map update, but Lexus' computer crashed before they got finished - but my original map was still usable. The third time I took it in (with an appointment and loaner car) they were able to update the NAV with the latest v15.1 map update. When I came to pick up my car my service advisor told me the map update was done at no-charge as a one-time goodwill gesture because it took three trips to finally get the NAV map updated. I did not complain nor did I ask for any price reduction because of the two previous times. This goodwill gesture saved me around $300. ($169 plus 1 hour labor at $130 hr.), which I really didn't mind paying. It was not a big inconvenience for me because the Lexus dealership is only a few miles from my house, and I received a loaner each time. Anyway, the entire map update usually takes between one and two hours, with the longest part of the process being the transfer of map data from the Lexus computer (I'm told). The final time they kept my car a total of 3.5 hours, which was over the typical lunch period. I enjoyed driving a new RX350, NX200t and ES300h long enough to realize that I'd never buy a NX200t or an ES300h...

What's wrong with the ES300h? Is that 4 cyl too sluggish? I was considering that car for the CT replacement cause it's a hybrid but I know I won't get the same feeling as the 350.

Yeah, I know what you mean. The OE 3 year old map I had was showing its age with all the many Interstate/highway/toll road/street changes and new POIs in the DFW Metroplex area that encompasses 9,300 square miles. I was glad to get it updated. Sometimes my old NAV map showed I was driving in the middle of a large body of water or land where there were no roads whatsoever.

2016 RX350 was really nice. I wanted to get that initially but they wanted like 600-700 bucks for a lease on one and it was out of the question.

Yeah, the ES300h was too sluggish. And, I didn't like the giggle/shake when the gas engine came on and took over. Even in Sport mode (when the gas engine is always used) the car lacked power and seemed really dull. Also, there wasn't too much about the ES interior layout, colors and materials I liked.

The turbo definitely helped make some extra power for the little 4 banger engine.
