Talking 2013 GS-350 to 2015 GS-350

I just traded my Silver 2013 GS-350 for a Black 2015 GS-350 and I'm loving the few different features. What a difference!

How do you find the ride between your 2013 versus your 2015?

Below is a photo of a 2013 vs 2015 Luxury/F Sport coil springs.
The coil spring on the left is the 2013 front coil.
The coil spring in the center is the 2015 front coil.
The coil spring on the right is the 2015 rear coil.

The spring travel on both front coils are about the same.
However, the 2013 coil is about 0.3 mm thinner in diameter.

Notice how the 2015 front and rear coils are "progressively flattened" towards the base? Not sure if this softens the initial impact on bump?
I can barely tell the difference between 2013 vs 2015 front coils.

Below is 2015 vs 2019-20 front coils.
2019-20 front coils are 0.6 mm thinner in diameter and a tad softer than the 2015 coils, but more importantly has noticeably more uncompressed spring travel than both 2013 and 2015 coils.
Meanwhile the 2016-18 coils are softest by far, but no photos available.

I'm getting close to purchasing a Lexus GS 350. I was thinking the 2013 f sport or the 2016 f sport. You mentioned you have a 2015 GS 350 now what are the differences that you're loving so much. I haven't made my purchase yet so I'm trying to figure out which car to buy. I know 2013 is the first model year so I can save money that way. But I do know that the 2016 has a digital dash so that's different than the 2013 and I'm not sure what other differences there are. I would appreciate any feedback from anyone before I make my purchase. Thanks guys

Depends on which part of Texas. It's very big. I'm from very west Texas. The southwest is heaven for car guys. In all my years as a mechanic I've only dealt with 2 really rusty cars and they were passing through. Southwest cars are the absolute best.
