Default Glove box rattling noise

I've been getting a rattling noise from my glove box. Where the noise is coming from is where you push the button to open the glove box. When i try to push the glove box, it stops but when i let go it starts again. I think it could be the spring loaded hook thing which rattles somewhere inside the lock mechanism. Anyone having that problem? any solutions?

I'm hearing a very similar noise. Doesn't help that the roads around here are terrible... only makes it more noticeable.

What i did for an temporary fix was i got a thick folded up paper that could fit inside that small square where that spring loaded hook fits in and i put it in there. Once i hit 10k miles for the oil change ill talk to lexus about it and ill let you know what they say...

I had the same problem. It started on its own at around 30K miles.
I fixed my problem in 3 minutes. 90% of the noise is gone!

If you're interested, here is what I did to fix mine.

1. Open the glove box, and look inside at the top edge.
You will see the 3 screws. 1 on the left, 1 in the middle and 1 on the right.

2. Unscrew all 3 of them, they are relatively short.

3. Now it's time to put them back again. But here is the trick!

You need to apply pressure when screwing the screws in. You need to push the top and bottom parts,
as shown in the picture below,

That's all. If you're experiencing what I had, which was pretty embarrassing to say the least, then this should fix it.
