How hard is the cabin air filter replacement?
It only takes 30 sec. 1 min for a first timer.

Removing the shelf probably takes longer than the actual filter.

Inspect this, inspect that, check for underinflated tires, inside edge wear, belts hanging out of the tires, brake pad thickness... The stuff that most people don't check or don't know how. At least once a month I get a car that have pads that are nearly metal to metal or have chords hanging out of tires. Us techs save lives lol

There will be no brake pads going out and tire belts hanging out in 5K miles. When u take it in at the 10K interval they do the same check and take notes of the stuff that are wearing out and replace when needed.

The GS has the a tire gauge on the dash and u can see which tire is under/overinflated. But if people still want to spend money every $5K then go ahead.

I didn't mean they'd be worn before 10k miles. I'm just talking general maintenance items most people dont check after their first 10k

Some go to 100K without a single oil change, then they go straight to the mechanic for engine rebuild.
