Default front wheel opening extension pads., what do you know

My car came without these installed. I have them. Do i need them? For what?

They control/guide the flow of air that goes underneath the car and directs the path to go around the wheels. If the air flow is directed more smoothly it can also more efficiently pull away heat from your brakes.

They're not vital but can't hurt.

Thank you. No reason to think having them installed will cause road or wind noies?

They shouldn't. If they are installed correctly they should be snug against the lower covers.

They should have been installed after drop off from the transport trucks during dealer prep so don't let them charge you.

My driver's side flap was installed backwards at dealer prep. I think they have 5-yr olds prepping cars there.
