It would sure have made tire selection easier if Lexus had not put an oddball pairing of tires on the staggered sized GS350 F Sports (RWD). Mostly, it seems to be the front tire size that is the oddball with fewer selections available than the rear size.
I completely agree with you. Going wider on the tires with the stock rims for RWD looks ok but I'm wondering if that includes cars that are on lowering springs? I'm on tanabe nf210's and wondering if I can just go with wider tires instead of wheel spacers.

Lowering springs certainly does further complicate your situation than what most of us are dealing with. If it would work out for you, I'd much rather go with wider tires than messing with wheel spacers.

yeah I have the same question because I have Tanabe NF210 springs and 10 millimeter spacers out front and 15 on the back. I don't mind going a little later I just don't want to rub. And if I can take my spacers off that would be awesome. My bridgestone's are barely going to 15-18k Miles. Horrible

So, I'm selling my car and the front tires are extremely worn compared to my rear tires. I just want to buy a set of used tires to replace the worn out front tires and found a pair of Continental ContiProContact P235/55R17 or Michelin Energy Saver A/S 235/55R17. I have a Pilot Super Sports on them now I don't remember the size on them, but with stock wheels.

My question is, can I use any of those proposed tires on this car?
