Hi guys,

Do you guys know how to access/play music on the 1st USB setting? I have iPod in USB 1 and iPhone in USB 2 but I can't select the USB 1 to play music. I can only play on USB 2.

Most prolly the USB is not formatted correctly. I had the same issue. I think it needs to be FAT or exFat. NTFS won't work. If the USB doesn't have the right partition type, the car won't read it.

he has ipod in one usb and iphone on the other. there is nothing about usb drives so nothing about format

no, both should read ipod just fine, i have tried both. if you keep your ipod in the same usb port and unplug the iphone, what do you get?

When I have the iPhone and iPad connected to two USB porst, I can only select one USB button. The other button one is grey. It seems like both USB ports will only play (1 at a time) from the main USB button.

if both the ipod and iphone plays (when only one is plugged in), then it sounds like it's limitation on which one the system will select to play

Please accept my humble apologies for hijacking this thread. I guess I was waiting for the first chance to complain about the USB storage type and jumped the gun

The problem is the car only recognizes one device at a time.

you will have to unplug one of the devices.

Unfortunately I am not.

I was testing the audio playing capabilities when I plugged in the phone and a usb stick at the same damn time, the second one I plugged in didnt work at any time.

Its one of those things that work so well out of the car, like on our computers, but once you step inside that vehicle, all the technology follows its own rules :/

i have always wondered about that but never tried, good to know how the computer reacts. i can see the reason behind, but it sux that you can't switch
