Default Front plate mounting DIY?

Just looking for another alternative on how to mount my front plate not using zip ties😀 i want to relocate it to the lower part of the front bumper so I can wrap the center part with vinyl. Any diy out there for us?

You can get one of those tow hook license plate mounts. Look at the Rho-plate V2 mount.

Going to revive this thread because I really want to put a tow hook bracket on my car. And really like the grim speed one that I saw.

I used this and really like it.

Amazon Amazon

had to plasti dip it though so it wouldn't rust. Attached it to the lower grill.

I went with this...very easy install and removing and reattaching the plate.

I know you said no zip tie, but.......Just zip-tie the oem mount very tight to the lower grill, that what I did, it doesn't move, very solid, and looks better.

Thanks so much I did decide to go with the cravenspeed tow hook mount due to fixing up my front. Want to change up the look so I chose to get it mounted on the side rather than directly below blocking airflow??

I have not much cared for any front license plate alternatives on the GS. The car just doesn't seem to look good with a plate on the front in any location.

I am in California, so a plate is required. I went ahead and had the front plate mounted in the stock position; surprisingly on our '16 GS with the big F Sport grill, the plate didn't look at all bad, was nicely centered, and seemed to break up that giant expanse of a grill.

So in my opinion, a lic plate on the'13-15's doesn't look very good in any position; on the '16 and after it looks pretty good and breaks up the massive grill.
