Default Should I lease a 2015 or wait for 2016?

I'm not in a rush. My Lexus dealer said he could buy out my Bimmer lease if I want to pull the trigger now. Not sure what to do. I can easily wait until December and lease the 2016.

The current lease offer is $2,499 down with $449/mo for an MSRP of $54,680. I'm thinking the 2016 will have roughly the same incentives, but with a higher downpayment, maybe $2,999.

What do you guys think?

what is the mileage and for how long? but either way it doesn't look like a very good lease there

the on-going price is very good. when the 2016 facelift is out it will stay strong price for a while i think. i don't know if you will get similar deals in december as what you can get on 2015 now

Do you like the current original model 4GS which dates back to February 2012, and now with 19" split 5 spoke alloy wheel and other minor updates, or are you more interested in the forthcoming September 2015 mid-life update which probably looks similar to the forthcoming GS F?

Expect September 2015's mid-life update to have something like: a wider mouth, with a full chrome surround, blacked-out & grilled-out front bumpers, L-shaped tail lights, and a steering wheel similar to the RC coupe.

I thought the original model looked more cohesive, while the GS F looked more like parts added on, so I went for the 2015, however, opinions will vary from person to person, so it's up to you whether you go 2015 or 2016...

I was just quoting the offer on lexus.com. I know you can get better deals @ dealer. I'll need 12k miles with 36 mo.

I'm sure the 2016 deal is not going to be as good as the 2015. That's why I'm asking what would you guys do, I can't make up my mind

I appreciate the visual comparo. Style wise, I think the 2016 is a bit more offensive, almost boy racer type, but it doesn't bother me too much. I tend to spend most of the time inside

If those are the only changes, then the 2015 just became more attractive ...

I don't know what the September facelift will look like exactly, but I suspect it will look aggressive.
So maybe go for 2016 if you want aggression.

I'd wait.

Like you said, you're not in a rush.

Not a fan of the new button setup on the steering wheel in the GS-F. Looks cheap and out of place, like it was thrown on.

Since you're not in a rush, I would recommend waiting for the 2016 to come out. If once you see the '16 in person and prefer the '15, you'd be able to get a much better deal on the remaining '15s in stock at firesale prices (though choices/availability might become limited)

Where are the new 2016 spy photos anyway? Still nothing? Maybe they're going to skip it again like in 2012 and go straight to the redesign 2017.

There was no 2012 MY GS right? They went from 3GS 2011 then to 4GS 2013.

I am anxiously awaiting images of the '16 GS. If it looks like I think it will look, I'll definitely pick one up.

And yes, I believe that's correct, there was no 2012 GS.

Same here. I'm getting more than 10k off MSRP. I don't think I'll get that good of a deal with 16. Seeing the std light on gs f turned me off. Mine is coming fresh off the boat! If 16 turns out to be a nice refresh...
