Default Help With Skipper Dezine front lip installation

I picked up my authentic Skipper front lip last week. I'm planning to install on my car sometime this week.. The front lip came with the "skipper" decal, a bag a nuts and bolts and installation instruction in Japanese. Obviously I do not read and understand Japanese, by looking at the pictures I assume it tells you to install the front lip with my stock holes and use the factory push tabs.

How did you installed yours? Using the push tabs or with the bolt and nuts that was provided? Also did you guys use double sided tape??

Thanks in advance!!!

Dont know how much this helps but I bought the Skipper Rep from ebay (should be same)n and I used a combination of VHT double sided tape as well as 4 skinny small screws. Its been fine for a couple months.
The one I had installed before was just regular (20LBS rated) double sided tape and it was mangled on my way to work somehow, mustve slipped under car and gotten chewed by tire on highway.

Hope this helps

i just used the included hardware for mine. no dbl sided tape needed. it's been holding up pretty well, over a year already. and i scrape it a lot...

when mocking it up, i used several "objects" to hold it up until it sat right against the bumper, and used a ton of painters tape to hold it in place while i screwed the lip in.

Replica has small placement holes where the screws are supposed to go in. Didnt want to use the thick screws that came with the lip because in case it gets pulled off it wont take the entire bumper with it.

hope this helps

So instead of using the factory push in clips you used the screws that came with the lip. I'm asking because in the instruction that came with it, the picture shows to use the factory clips, which make no sense for the both and nuts that came with the lip.

you use the clips on the holes closest to the rt and left wheel and use the bolts that came with the kit for the rest. Thats how I did mine Hope this helps you
