Default 60k service

How much does your dealer charge for the 60k mile service ?
Dealer is asking $590. I have a 3rd generation GS and don't remember any service being that much.

It's a 3GS…

I would honestly recommending calling local dealerships to find the best price. Then ask your preferred dealership to price match

I remember dealer asking for about that much for 30K service. I'm assuming they are replacing pads. I ended up telling them to do the service but not to replace pads, buying the pads online, and taking it to my local shop to replace.

Is the fuel filter replacement on the manufacturer's maintenance schedule?

I don't think there is a serviceable fuel filter. These days it is in the fuel tank as part of the fuel pump

Can you provide a breakdown of the $590?

Oil Change - $100
Tire Rotation - $20
Engine Air Filter - $30
Cabin Air Filter - $50

Rotating windows, Topping off air in air bags, changing blinker fluid - $390?!?

$390 for the labor & car wash! LOL

IMO unless 60K included flushing tranny fluid and transfer case fluid otherwise dealer charge are ripped off.

Oil change could be done at any shop for $75 synthetic if you lazy to do. Both filters could be replaced under 5 minutes. Your tires properly replaced by now and tire shop will do rotation for free. The money saving could be use toward a nice bubble spa and details for your ride.

60k miles and you're still going to the dealership?

You must really like the free cookies and sodas, huh?

The actual price of the 60k service is $1000.
I'm bummed but after further research on the forums , I think I'll pony up and get the service. I know I'm getting ripped off but I'm a fanatic regarding my car & I won't trust anyone else to service it for me . I also want to keep it in tip top condition.
