Did i get ripped?

Seems like a lot. We talked dealer to $55,000 out the door at 2.9% fully loaded except no HuD and not awd.
At end of day we thought buying a 2013 with a few miles for $44,000 with same options was better choice.

You live in CA, so don't forget you paid tax on the price of the car. Depending on what your sales price was, at least $4k of your $8k down payment went to sales tax. Then you have the registration/license fees, dealer doc fees, etc. Those also ate up some of your $8k down payment.
You actually probably paid around $55k for the car.
$55.5k + $4,500 tax + $450 registration + $500 other fees = $61k

If u paid $55K then it's a little too high, this is before tax and stuff. My 2014 was at 52-53K before tax and now the 2015 go as low as 50K. But mine is about 60K out the door, including tax but I have 5K negative trade in.

Did u deal with the sales manager? Cause regular salesman isn't going to cut it on these cars. I think I got quite a bit of incentives, I'll check my papers again for the exact numbers and my total price was almost the same as urs and I had 5K negative equity, so that means 5K added to the new car price. This was back in August this year, I don't think the incentives were that great compared to the March Command event. I also think the Dec to remember event is a little weak compared to the March one.

Okay, here's the breakdown of my deal, I have the papers in front of me.
2014 GS 350 FSport - Lease 48 months / 10K miles a year
Final price: $55,099.94 (this is including tax)
Etch: $299
DMV eFiling Fee: $950
Outstanding Prior Lease Balance: $4,431 (This is the negative equity from my old car, it's actually less than 5K)
OTD Price: $60,779.94
Residual Value / Purchase Option: $30,277.68
Monthly payment: $725 including tax, Zero down at signing
Total down payment: $3,475.69 (Including 1st month payment - All covered by incentives), no security deposit.
My payments include the Tire and Wheel Protection and PDR package (worth $950).
So without my negative equity I'll be paying about $56K for the car OTD and I got $3,475.69 worth of incentives.

I too live in socal and I bought mine a couple years ago @ Lexus Westminster. I agree w/ the math that's provided. To the OP, I don't necessarily think you got ripped, just you paid retail or advertised cost w/out negotiating much. Most people do that anyways. It's pretty hard to negotiate a brand new Lexus on top of that. Think about it. Lexus is NOT going to give you much of a discount on a new car. If you look at all the deals that's been posted, the final numbers are all about the same. If you really want to know, go look at your own paperwork of the breakdown. It should explain what you paid.
We leased ours and will be purchasing it when the lease is up.
