Default 2014 GS 350 RWD (What do you guys think)

Hey everyone ,

I bought my 2014 GS just over 2 months ago , and I got an exceptional deal on the 18 inch package so I took it. I recently wanted to ordered the 19" Ace Convex Titanium Finish for my vehicle, however a friend of mine advised me that the 19 inch would feel rough because my vehicle's suspenion is tailored for 18 inch. Luckily a friend of mine has the F Sport so we decided to switch for a day. And boy was he right.

Although it looked great on the black exterior , the ride quality, the smoothness, the handling, even my MPG all declined dramatically. It went down 5 mpg , from an overall average of 21 mpg to 16mpg. So I decided to put custom 18 inch wheels instead because I didnt want to mess with the ride because I love the smooth , gliding feeling so much from the GS. I personally like the look. Looks very stealthy and composed but im ok with criticism as well. I also added a set of Pirelli P7 All Season Plus tires. The ride quality now is even better than the stock wheels and tires.

So I was wondering what do you guys think about the look ?

I think the stock 18 wheels look better, not a fan of black wheels or dark colored wheels. I wish my FSport wheels come in silver.

They don't sell the stock F Sport rims in silver.

I don't care for the wheels, but im very interested in your thoughts on the Pirelli P7's. What tires did it have on it before? Mine is going to need new tires soon, and its between the same set of Michelins for me or those tires. Those tires are MUCH cheaper.

Personally I dislike those, I feel they sort of downgrade the cars look from the OEM wheels. Dark wheels can work but not those ones...IMO

Yeah no I meant aftermarket for the silver ones.

As for the tires , they originally came in Dunlops but ive always prefered Pirellis over others for comfort and delivery power. The Dunlops were pretty good but the Pirellis, in my opinon are way better. And ive also seen in a slight increase in my MPG as well. How much are those Michelins ? Are you talking about the Piot Sports ?

They're the Primacy MXM4, the other OEM tire (some are Dunlops, some are Michelins.

They're like $280 a tire mounted.

The Dunlops Sport Maxx that came with the vehicle also costs $280 and the Pirellis costs about $160 but I believe they are better.

No way in the world putting on F wheels would effect your mileage that much, and probably none at all. Something else was going on. But if you are happy with what you wound up with that is all that counts.

^this

It's your money and your taste that matters the most. If you're happy, then you're good to go.

Yeah the Pirellis are better than the Dunlops no question, the question is whether or not they are better than the Michelins.
