Hi Guys,

I am planning on purchasing a 13 GS350 for my dad, as a Christmas present.

For those of you that have bought cars around this time of year, which month would be the best month for some more aggressive negotiation on the price?

I have a budget of 40k before taxes(its 13% here btw). At this time(October) the 2013 GS350 in Ontario is between 41k-45k.

But I see you said 2013, that means you want pre owned? If your not leasing or buying brand spanking new the time of year doesnt matter as much, just finding the right dealer or private seller who is willing to part with it for the lowest. Generally, the end of the year would be slightly wiser as newer models come out the prices decrease. But with some smart researching and negotiating the same deal can be had now as well.

Yes, it going to be a slightly used one within 30k miles, with the assumption that most 2013 models are purchased in 2012 with about 2 more years of comprehensive warranty left.

I just bought an IS-F from this dealer, it was the best used-car dealer experience I have ever had (and I've had a lot).
Very reasonable price as well, but most importantly they fixed a problem I had and provided a rental car.
