Part ID please

Got my GS back from the dealer and there was a strange cap left in the trunk. They were working on the trunk deck lid. Can someone tell me what it is. Maybe they forgot to replace it.

its the cover for the headlight bulbs or high beam bulbs.keeps water and dirt from the housing.

Why would they have taken the headlights apart to work on the trunk?

maybe its the cover for the rear lights inside of the trunk.

yeah looks like the cover for a hid housing.

someone thought it'd be funny as hell? but really check all your housings, you don't want dust/crap to get in there.
