Do you have an individual insurance agent?

Do a search on this and other forums before using SAFELITE GLASS. They did a terrible job on my Lexus causing over $800 worth of damage. They may be the cheapest but LET THE BUYER BEWARE. I wouldn't let them replace the glass on my son's tricycle.

Unfortunately, no. Contact is directly through Amica Hotline.

Thats your issue.

Things like this are why I will never buy insurance through a company that doesn't come through an agent. These are situations where your agent can make them respond to you because your business is more valuable to them individually than it is to the company as a whole. If its an agency that produces well they have clout because the insurance company wants to keep them and their customers happy. A good insurance agent is worth paying a little more for IMHO. Allstate tried to give me the same runaround when I wanted OEM glass, I called my agent told him what I wanted and that it was really important to me. It was done.

Geico, Progressive, all these companies that offer direct sale...not for me.

Used Texas Auto Glass with great results! They came out to me and used OEM glass (Lexus logo on the bottom). 500 deductible- Amica also did great.
